Today we’re bringing Save the World out of Early Access and have decided that it will remain a premium experience rather than going free-to-play. Development of new content will slow down after this official release, but the adventure doesn’t end here for Save the World.

Save The World was initially expected to be released as free-to-play in late 2018, however this was pushed back in October 2018 to an unspecified date. On June 29, 2020, Epic Games announced that Save the World would be leaving Early Access, however it would not be going free-to-play as originally planned. If you’re out there, we need your help!
